Scratch represents a program's instructions as blocks that snap together, so you learn programming logic without the complexity of typing code.
You start by setting up the workspace and learning the Code, Costumes and Sounds tabs, then you learn conditions, loops, functions and procedures: the same concepts you will need later in any programming language, such as Visual Basic or Java.
You apply them in drawing and calculator programs, and build a fishing game step by step.
